CHILD'S POSE WITH LATERAL REACH

Sets: 1

Reps: 10 breaths each side

  • Start in child’s pose position with your hips back towards the heels.

  • Reach and side bend to the opposite side allowing a nice stretch along your side body.

  • Hold and send your breath into the lats, lateral ribcage and low back. You should feel some nice expansion with each inhale.

  • As you exhale, just let things recoil back to the starting position.

  • Perform on both sides.

Modifications:

  • Decrease range of motion as tolerated.
