GENTLE STANDING EXTENSION

Reps: 10-15

  • Stand up and use upper body support for this exercise, like a chair or table.

  • Take a small back extension allowing a very gentle stretch through the abdominals.

  • Hold for a few seconds and then return to standing.

  • Breathe easy - no need to apply to a certain phase of movement. Avoid holding breath.

  • Only go as far as you feel comfortable. You should feel an easy stretch, nothing painful or intense pulling.

  • Gradually build range of motion as tolerated.
