PRONE LYING WITH BREATH - WITH PILLOW

  • Lie on your stomach with a pillow under your low back.

  • Inhale into your back body allowing your ribcage to expand.

  • Exhale and allow the ribs to depress/recoil back to neutral. No contracting for this exercise.

  • Spend several breaths here promoting relaxation and expansion.

  • You may feel a light stretch in the abdomen but there should be no painful pulling.

  • If you feel no stretch at all, feel free to remove the pillow.
